WANNABE swashbuckling heroes can learn how to sword fight at a free trial session in Sheffield.
Weston Park is hosting free introductory fencing classes on Saturday, June 11.
Sessions last 55 minutes and start at 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm and 2.30pm.
The event is taking place ahead of the Senior European Fencing Championships at the English Institute of Sport Sheffield, which run from July 14 - 19.
A spokesman for Museums Sheffield, which is organising the classes, said: “Come along and find out what it is all about.
“You’ll learn about the equipment, footwork, hitting and parrying skills then put it all together to have a go.”
Sessions are fully supervised and all equipment is provided by organisers.
