SWEET Child O’ Mine proved a lucky song for one Sheffield pub - which has become the second to win prizes in a national prize draw.
The licensee and a drinker at The Malthouse pub, Parson Cross, have reaped the rewards of success in digital jukebox company Soundnet’s national competition, Summer of Sport.
Julie Horn, who runs the pub, has received £200 of shopping vouchers as a prize and winning customer Darran Wheelhouse got an iPad.
Running throughout the summer on almost 6,000 Sound Leisure machines at pubs across the UK, the competition gives digital jukebox players the opportunity to win iPads by finding special codes hidden in sports-related tracks.
The Malthouse’s Milestones in Music digital jukebox provided the win after Darran selected the Guns N’ Roses hit.
