BUSINESS representatives across Sheffield are being invited to step out of the boardroom and onto the fairways to test their skills against lawyers and help charities.
Anna Rudkin, Sheffield and District Law Society president, is organising the annual tournament which will see members of the legal profession compete against representatives of South Yorkshire firms.
The event will take place on Friday, September 7, and places are still available for businesses wanting to put their golfing skills to the test.
Taking place at Dore and Totley Golf Club, the challenge will see teams of four compete against each other to help determine Sheffield’s best business golfers.
The charities which will benefit from the funds raised are the Cathedral Archer Project, which provides support to the city’s homeless and vulnerable individuals, and Sheffield Children’s Hospital.
Anna said: “The event is a great opportunity for people across the city with different business backgrounds to meet others and celebrate the strong links enjoyed between Sheffield’s legal and business communities, while also helping to raise vital funds needed for two very good local causes close to my heart.”
