Suspended UKIP candidate ‘happy’

Have your say

A CANDIDATE for the Sheffield Council elections said he is ‘quite happy’ to have been suspended by UKIP over an article he wrote about Norwegian killer Anders Breivik.

Steve Moxon – standing in Dore and Totley – said he was suspended because party chairman Steve Crowther was concerned about ‘misrepresentation of position’.

Mr Moxon said UKIP had ‘no disagreement’ with him, and that he made ‘no mention’ of Muslim groups in the online article.
