Sheffield is set to sizzle on the hottest weekend of the year so far - with plenty of events basking in the sunshine glory.
Parks, playgrounds and beer gardens will all be packed as people relax in temperatures as high as 27C.
And with the sun set to stay until the early part of next week, people have been busy making plans for the weekend.
Chapeltown Fun Day takes place today from 11am in Chapeltown Park, and Sharrow Multicultural Festival takes place all afternoon until 8pm at Mount Pleasant Park.
Totley Open Gardens could benefit from a bigger than usual turnout when residents open up their plots of paradise between 1pm and 5pm this afternoon.
And Sheffield Pride will be taking place throughout the day in the city centre.
Chris Pullen, aged 28, who lives in the city centre, said: “I’m looking forward to going round to a mate’s house and having a barbecue, it’s the right thing to do in this weather.”
Elouise Housley, aged 16, from Fulwood, said: “I’ll be out sunbathing in the garden.”
Jane McGee, 17, from Fulwood, flies out to Barcelona today. She said: “I think it’s going to be hotter over there but only just!”
But not everyone is going to be taking advantage of the sun.
James Nelson, 37, from Mosborough, said: “Tomorrow I’ll be sitting indoors watching the Grand Prix on the television, so I won’t be going out.”
