Huge crowds supported the annual Rotherham Hospice Summer Gala.
The event the Phoenix Sports Ground, Brinsworth, is expected to have raised £15,000 for the hospice.
An It’s A Knockout challenge proved a successful fundraiser, with nine team involved.
Firms First Bus, Santander, Natwest, Haybrook and event sponsor Jeremy Neal Independent Funerals were among those who took part in the event.
Team captain, Matthew Neal said “It was an incredible day.
“For everyone who sponsored us and showed their support -thank you. We are proud to be bringing the trophy home for the third year running, and against some brilliant competition this year.”
There were displays from Seven 20 Martial Arts, Handsworth and Hallam Theatre Company and Dance Mania.
Music was provided by Sheffield University’s Forge Radio.
There was a hog roast, bouncy castles and children’s rides as well as a one metre high cake on show which was cut up and sold to visitors.
It was donated by Oak Furnitureland in Rotherham.
Organiser Ash Corker said “We are delighted with the turnout on the day and would like to thank all of our volunteers and everyone who supported the event - you all helped to make the day a great success.”
