Summer fair fun is still on

Have your say

Sheffield Extra Care is refusing to let the wet weather put a dampener on its summer fair.

The event will take place at the Roman Ridge Extra Care Scheme this Saturday, July 21, where there will be stalls selling cake, crafts, cards, bric-a-brac, jewellery and clothing.

Hot roast pork and chicken sandwiches will be available or for those with a sweet tooth there will be knickerbocker glories and ice-cream sundaes.

Members of the local community are encouraged to celebrate the summer festivities with staff, residents and their friends from 2pm.

Money raised will be invested back into the Sanctuary Care Scheme in a residents’ fund to pay for future events and activities.
