Suffering was not necessary

Have your say

MY son’s dog fell ill so he went to PDSA but they told him they could not see him that they couldn’t help as he didn’t receive housing benefit, even though he lives with his brother who receives housing benefit.

So they both went down to the PDSA again only to be turned away again.

The PDSA is a charity for people who can’t afford to take animals to a vet.

The dog died and the rejection caused it to suffer as my son could not afford to go to a vet.

He was really upset, this pain would not have been necessary if they had seen to his dog.

I know people who work and asked people on benefits to take their dogs for them so they don’t have to pay vet bills.
