A GOLF course played host to a sporting tournament to raise cash for charity.
Tapton Park Golf Course in Chesterfield raised more than £1,500 for the South Yorkshire branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association during the day-long event.
A total of 17 teams were hard at work perfecting their putts ahead of the golf day, organised by health insurance provider Westfield Health and Sheffield International Venues.
Organiser Peter Taylor, of Westfield Health, said: “The golf day was a huge success, raising an excellent amount of money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association and we now hope to make this an annual event. We felt the association is an incredibly worthy cause which works tirelessly to help the people of South Yorkshire living with motor neurone disease.”
