Sheffield-based charity Art in the Park has joined forces with Sheffield Hallam University’s students’ union to present a new arts festival.
The Platform Festival will showcase students’ talent until Monday, March 26.
It features a mix of exhibition, spoken word and performance, including opportunities for the public to get involved in film and photography projects.
The main public events include an exhibition of artwork on the theme of Identity at CADS and the HUBS, Hallam’s Got Talent at the HUBS and a celebration of spoken word from Ink Creative Writing Magazine at the Lantern Theatre.
There are also interactive projects the public can get involved in.
Luisa Golob, Art in the Park chief executive, said: “We’re excited to be collaborating with the union on the festival. It’s always great to help young people get space to demonstrate their talents.”
