Student rescued after getting lost in Peak District

A student from London had to be rescued after getting lost in the Peak District.

The 18-year-old called Derbyshire Police when he got disorientated on Kinder Scout on Wednesday afternoon.

Buxton Mountain Rescue Team were altered along with a search and rescue dog and handler.

The missing walker did not have a map or compass, but had a whistle and was asked to blow it when he could hear rescuers approaching.
