TEENAGER Adam Wordsworth has become the 700th person to sign up for an apprenticeship at Doncaster College.

Adam, aged 17, became the college’s 700th student to start one of the qualifications when he began his apprenticeship at the electrical wholesalers Smith Brothers.

Adam is doing a level two warehousing and storage apprenticeship at the company’s warehouse and distribution centre in Friargate, near Doncaster town centre.

“I enjoy it,” said Adam.

“I really like it here and I want to make a career in logistics.

“My father works as a warehouse manager so I have a family background in it.”
