The Co-operative is investing £160,000 in its food store on Hutcliffe Wood Road, Sheffield as part of its ongoing commitment to serving local communities.
The retailer, which has a food store in every postal area of the UK, has undergone transformation in recent years to become a leading light in food retailing.
The investment in Hutcliffe Wood Road will upgrade the store, with new internal signage, some new fixtures and fittings, and a new floor, all to ensure a more pleasant environment.
Additional ranges will be introduced and popular services such as The National Lottery and Paypoint will remain.
Robert Milne, Manager of The Co-operative Food store on Hutcliffe Wood Road, said: “Upgrading the store will freshen up the shopping experience. I look forward to welcoming customers into the new-look store.”
The store will now remain open while work is carried out. It will be completed on Thursday 8 September. Once the store relaunches, hours will remain 7am until 10pm.
