HEALTH workers have been talking to patients and visitors at Rotherham District General Hospital about quitting smoking - as part of a new national campaign.
Nicotine Replacement Therapy patches and gum are available to smokers wanting to quit for up to four weeks if they sign up to the Rotherham NHS Stop Smoking Service.
Stoptober, the national stop smoking campaign to get smokers to quit during October, was launched by Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust with successful quitters attending to encourage others to give up their habit.
Those who have stopped smoking talked about their experiences and the support available.
