Steve aims to spin a record

A NIGHTCLUB boss is undertaking a world record danceathon to raise money for St Luke’s Hospice in Sheffield.

Brighton-based Steve Stevens will take to the floor at the Angelik nightclub in Worthing between March 9 and 13, aiming to keep moving for at least 110 hours – smashing the current 108-hour record.

The 35-year-old will get five minutes’ rest an hour but must keep his feet moving to the music at all other times.

Steve was inspired by former St Luke’s patient Rebekah Stanley, 38, from Shirecliffe, who died of cancer last year.
