The Rotary Club of Sheffield Vulcan are organising a walk around Porter Valley.

The event takes place next Sunday, May 19, with a start time of between 9am and 11am.

A spokesman said: “You can walk with us to raise sponsorship for Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind.

“Join us for a round walk of 10k or 5k, the choice is yours.”

The 10k walk starts at HSBC Sports Club on Limb Lane and heads past Whirlow Farm to cross Ringinglow Road and on to Forge Dam.

From there, walkers take a route along Porter Clough and back down the Limb Valley.

Entry costs £6.50 per person or £15 for a family ticket and places must be reserved by Wednesday.
