Staff puzzled by mysterious box of chocs
STAFF at the Age UK shop in Broomhill got a pleasant surprise when someone walked in with a bag containing a box of chocolates.
But when they opened the bag they were left thinking the person gave it to them by mistake.
Also in the bag was a note - thanking them for saving the life of a man called Ted.
It was signed Annette, and said: “Thank you for helping to save my brother.”
But a volunteer at the shop said: “We have no recollection of saving anyone’s life and believe the person who dropped them in may have got the wrong shop.
“It would be nice if they were to go to the rightful person.”
If you know anything about the chocolates call the shop on 0114 268 2606.
