Staff support charity appeal

WORKERS at a South Yorkshire Wilkinson store have raised £250 towards the company’s regional charity of the year.

Staff at the Wombwell branch collected the case by dressing in festive fancy dress to act as Santa’s helpers and collect change.

Team members also hosted a charity book stall and offered twinkly ‘reindeer dust’ to customers, in return for donations to the hospice.

Sharon Cullingworth, the store manager, said: “This year’s Christmas event has been a delight to organise and take part in.

The whole team is incredibly enthusiastic about raising funds.”

The money will go to Louth and District Hospice, Lincolnshire, Wilkinson’s regional charity for 2012.
