ESTATE agency bosses swapped running a business for running errands after a charity auction.
The skills of Blundells managing director Steve Hinshelwood, director Andrew Winter and director Peter Lee were offered to the highest bidder at the company’s staff awards.
As a result the trio became slaves for the day for their own human resources staff, raising £3,753 for the Whirlow Hall Farm Trust.
The money will pay for disabled children from five local schools to visit the farm.
Peter said: “Staff put me to work and I swapped my usual role valuing homes for washing up duties, tea making, doing the sandwich run and even washing a few cars.
“It was very different from my usual day and a great way to raise money.”
