Stab murder cops make four more arrests

DETECTIVES hunting the killer of a Sheffield man stabbed to death on a city street have made four more arrests.

Police arrested the two men and two women on Saturday as part of their probe into the death of 29-year-old Sheffield man Damian John Taff, who was found injured on Swanbourne Road, Sheffield Lane Top, in the early hours of last Wednesday.

He died a few hours later in the Northern General Hospital.

The four quizzed over the incident are men aged 29 and 30 and women aged 29 and 39.

Antonio Anderson, 31, of Masters Crescent, Parson Cross, Sheffield has been charged with perverting the course of justice in connection with the murder of Damian Taff.

He has been remanded in custody pending his next appearance at court.
