Items signed by Sheffield sports stars will be the top items on offer at an auction to boost a city charity.
Homeless cause Roundabout, which runs the region’s only direct access hostel for young people in Highfields, is to benefit from a charity dinner on Friday, June 7.
The event will include live entertainment, the auction – featuring a shirt signed by London 2012 heptathlon champion Jessica Ennis and gloves from boxer Kell Brook – and a raffle to help raise cash for the hostel’s revamp.
Lee Freeman-Jones, of city nightclub Plug, has organised the dinner at Fitzwilliam and West, West One, in the city centre.
The Children’s Hospice South West will benefit from money raised on the night.
