YOUNGSTERS enjoyed a mini World Cup football tournament and sumo suit wrestling as part of a fun week of summer activities in north Derbyshire.
Chesterfield Football Club and Derbyshire Police ran the activity week in Queens Park in Chesterfield.
The event was aimed at keeping youngsters entertained during the school summer holiday.
It was also a way of building positive relationships with young people from the town.
A climbing wall, a barbecue and Ozbox fitness sessions were all organised for the youngsters.
But the highlight for many was when Chesterfield player Jamie Lowry visited the park to meet the children and show off some of his football skills.
PCSO Paul Smith, of the Chesterfield Town Centre Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “The week was a great success with up to 40 children attending on each day.
“It has helped us to build relationships with the youngsters and hopefully allowed them to have fun and make new friends.”
