ST Luke’s Hospice holds its annual Christmas Service of Celebration and Remembrance at Sheffield Cathedral this Sunday.
The festive service, during which members of the congregation are able to remember loved ones who have been looked after by the hospice over the years, begins at 2.30pm and is open to the public.
Music will be provided by Stannington Brass Band, Sheffield Philharmonic Chorus and pupils from Silverdale School.
Special guests will include the High Sheriff of South Yorkshire, the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Sheffield, the Master and Mistress Cutler and the Capital Burgess.
St Luke’s chaplain and spiritual care coordinator Mike Reeder, said: “This is a simple but moving service in the historic setting of Sheffield Cathedral, which last just an hour.
“We always enjoy welcoming everybody to this very special day in the St Luke’s calendar.”
