Fairies and superheroes from a South Yorkshire nursery took part in Britain’s biggest pre-school fundraising event.
Youngsters at Little Ducklings, in Wombwell, were among those who took part in the Big Toddle event to raise money for children’s charity Barnardo’s.
Kerry Murdoch, from Little Ducklings, said: “There were 57 children who took part, most of whom were in fancy dress.
“The day was a great success although we don’t yet know how much was raised because sponsorship is still being brought in by parents.”
Around 300,000 children take part in the Big Toddle each year.
