A hunt is underway for the rider of a quad bike who fled and dumped the machine after spotting police community support officers.
The rider was using the quad bike in Carlton, Barnsley, while PCSOs were patrolling the Crookes Lane area on Tuesday.
A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: "Upon seeing officers, the rider fled the scene but left the bike behind.
"The quad was seized by officers, who are trying to identify its owner and the rider they saw that day.
"This is part of the team’s ongoing efforts to tackle nuisance bikes and associated anti-social behaviour in the area.
"Do you recognise this bike? Do you know who it belongs to?"
