INVESTIGATIONS continue at a South Yorkshire factory where a worker from Rotherham died following an industrial incident.
Emergency services were called to the premises of Macalloy Ltd in Caxton Way, Dinnington, after the 56-old man from Rawmarsh, was fatally injured on Friday.
He has not yet been named.
South Yorkshire Police and Health and Safety Executive investigators have been at the plant over the weekend.
A police spokesman said: “The Health and Safety Executive is aware of the situation and a joint investigation is currently underway.”
The company, which supplies threaded bar and cable systems for use on wind turbines and high rise buildings worldwide was formed in 1948.
The premises was closed at the weekend and the company has not yet commented.
