Firefighters from South Yorkshire waded two miles through waist-high flood waters to deliver fresh water to villagers in Berkshire.

A crew from South Yorkshire has been pumping water out of flooded homes in Windsor and Maidenhead and visiting vulnerable residents.

Watch manager Dez Omar from Sheffield said: “To be able to do something to help residents like these is extremely gratifying.”
