The Star letter by Mr A Glossop, also the article on the same page by William Ronksley, at last some sound sense, if I may be so.
I was privileged to meet Bill Ronksley some time ago and being in the same age group I felt we had a similar outlook. But this time I can not agree with Mr Ronksley on the subject of Trident.
I feel very strongly that this deterrent must be kept. Our planet is a dangerous place these days, wars breaking out all over, terrorism at its most evil etc. Also how many more nations have now got the deterrent?
I will certainly ask to receive a copy of the letter to Harriet Harman.
