Aspiring footballers in Sheffield spent their Spring Bank school holiday at soccer camps in the city.
Organised as part of Sheffield Wednesday’s Community Programme, around 100 youngsters aged between five and 14 years old attended football sessions to put their techniques to the test and to pick up new skills.
Steve Taylor, Community Officer at the Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme, the charitable arm of the Championship club, said: “The Spring Bank Holiday camp has been excellent and we were really impressed with how many children took part. “It’s always good to see young people get involved and show interest in football.
“The camps are a great way for children to try the sport and benefit from the opportunity to be coached by experts from our community programme.
“We look forward to welcoming even more at our summer Soccer Camps.”
