Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind is currently holding a raffle to win a picture by snooker’s artist in residence Tom Walker.
Former World champions Steve Davis and Ken Doherty are pictured here with Jane Furness and the picture up for grabs.
The picture is one of 147 snooker related images, of which Steve Davis already owns five.
It was originally priced at £600 and is on display in the window at SRSB’s Mappin Street centre.
Jane said: “We are very grateful to Tom Walker for his generous donation of this fabulous picture and also the support of World Snooker.
“The money raised will help us to continue our services and support for blind and partially sighted people in Sheffield.
“We were also delighted that Steve Davis and Ken Doherty gave us their time to help promote the raffle.”
Tickets are priced at £2 each and SRSB will be drawing the raffle on Thursday May 16.
If anyone would like to purchase a ticket they can do this via SRSB’s website www.srsb.org.uk, at their centre or over the phone 0114 272 2757.
The charity is also promoting the raffle in the
Cuezone in the Winter Gardens throughout the championships.
