Small digital firms can win cash backing from Channel 4
A NEW Channel 4-backed scheme to nurture and encourage small digital companies in the Yorkshire region has been launched in Sheffield.
The 4iP project was launched by Tom Loosemore from Channel 4 at Sheffield's new 120 million Digital Campus building.
Yorkshire is one of three areas in the country to benefit from the scheme.
Channel 4 and Yorkshire Forward have both pledged 5 million in funding each, which can be applied for by companies and individuals to develop their businesses.
The scheme will be managed by Screen Yorkshire and there will be a digital commissioning manager based in Sheffield.
