Walkers braved the elements as gale force winds and torrential rain battered Derbyshire’s Peak District today.
These photos show locals wrapped up and battling against the horrible weather on the edge of the River Dove, as the water spilled over onto the paths and the Stepping Stones in Dovedale.
Others show cars splashing through the flood water near Thorpe.
