Ski village hit by fire again

FIREFIGHTERS were called out to the latest in a string of deliberate fires at Sheffield Ski Village.

Crews were called to the Vale Road centre just after 4pm yesterday, after a shed and part of a slope were set alight. Two engines attended and both fires took around one hour to extinguish. A spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said officers believed the cause of the fire was deliberate.

Details have been passed on to South Yorkshire Police.
