The family and friends of a Sheffield youngster who died in an accident have held a fundraiser in his memory.
The race night at The Fleur de Lys pub in Totley, Sheffield, was organised by Jessica Liversidge, elder sister of Charlie Liversidge, who was killed, aged seven, in April 2008.
He was playing on his neighbour’s drive on Abbeydale Road South, Dore, when he was pulled under the wheels of a car.
Following his death his family set up Charlie’s Trust which provides educational opportunities for children and young people in South Yorkshire and North East Derbyshire.
The entertainment at Friday’s party included a Harry Hill lookalike and a raffle.
Jessica, aged 25, from Dore, said they raised over £1,000.
“Charlie was my absolute world and I’m finally at a stage in my life where I can do something to help raise money in his memory,” she said.
