A MAN cut his sister’s clothes to shreds after a row about a dodgy laptop.
Daniel Brooks, aged 20, lost his temper after learning the computer he had bought for her was broken. Sheffield Crown Court heard Brooks, of Brantwood Crescent in Cantley, Doncaster, used scissors to cause £150 of damage.
Judge Simon Lawler described his actions as ‘irrational, mean and unpleasant’. He was sentenced to 80 hours of unpaid work.
