GRENOSIDE’S Old Red Lion pub is hosting a traditional sing-a-long on Sunday, September 18, at 8pm to raise money for forces charity Help For Heroes.
Everyone attending will be given a song book, and a pie and pea supper will also be served. Skiffle, country and western and blues music is also being performed by the Bus Pass Buskers, and a raffle and auction will be held.
Tickets are on sale at the pub, priced £7 each.
AUDIENCES at Barnsley’s Lamproom Theatre will be treated to black comedy when the venue stages a production of the play A Skull In Connemara.
The production, which runs from September 19 to 24, features a revolving stage designed by Lamproom volunteer Jim Sorsby.

AN OPERA singer is performing at Napoleons Casino on Ecclesall Road tonight to raise money for Weston Park Hospital.
John Innes’ show starts at 7pm and tickets cost £35, including a five-course dinner, with £5 of every ticket sold going to the charity.
