CYCLISTS in South Yorkshire are being urged to sign up for a series of events across the UK to raise money for prostate cancer sufferers.
The Prostate Cancer Charity’s Tour Ride events are in Scotland, London and Stoke-on-Trent, giving the chance to ride alongside professionals in official stages of the eight-day Tour of Britain.
Last year, over 4,500 people took part in the races, which start in the Scottish Borders on Sunday, continuing in London on September 18 and finishing in Stoke-on-Trent on September 25.
The rides have been backed by famous names including actor and comedian Stephen Fry, Liverpool FC manager Kenny Dalglish and singer Alexandra Burke.
Cyclists must be aged at least 16. Visit www.tourride.co.uk for information.
