Should I feel pity or contempt?

Have your say

I NEVER thought that a reactionary old fuddy-duddy like me would ever be accused of belonging to the PC brigade (April 16) but if objecting to innocent people being convicted of serious crimes on flimsy evidence is a sign of being PC, then so be it.

Has Jasmine Carson already forgotten a recent murder investigation in which the police and media were fully prepared to indict the victim’s landlord purely on the grounds that he was a bit eccentric and had funny hair?

If she is happy with the thought of Timothy Evans being hanged and Stefan Kiszko rotting in jail for years while the real killers were still at liberty, then I do not know whether to feel pity or contempt for her.
