A MARKETING manager has been credited with helping to increase footfall in a Sheffield shopping centre.
Crystal Peaks worker Laura Mathewson, aged 28, scooped young achiever of the year at the shopping centre magazine Sceptre’s annual awards.
The retail and marketing boss, who lives in Barlborough, Derbyshire, was praised for a creative approach to marketing that had increased footfall, spend and dwell time for visitors.
The shopping centre’s Glitz and Glam hair salon also scooped Independent Retailer of the Year at the ceremony, which was held in London.
Lee Greenwood, manager of Crystal Peaks, said: “This was a fantastic night for Crystal Peaks and one that demonstrated that we are at the forefront of retail nationally.
“We are particularly proud of Laura’s outstanding achievement. Her award is a well deserved recognition of the level of commitment and enthusiasm she brings to her role.”
