Sheffield woman seriously injured in hit-and-run

A Sheffield woman has been seriously injured in a hit-and-run.

Police in Sheffield are appealing for information after a 30-year-old woman was seriously injured in a collision in Lowedges.

At around 7.50pm yesterday, Friday November 27, the woman was crossing Lowedges Road when she was hit by a silver or white vehicle, the details of which are unknown.

The woman, from the local area, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital where she remains in a serious but stable condition.

The vehicle, which was travelling towards Greenhill Parkway, drove off from the scene and officers are appealing for help to trace the vehicle and the driver.
