A teenager involved in a collision in Sheffield last week has lost his fight for life.
Cian Pace, aged 19, from Shirecliffe, was a passenger in a silver Vauxhall Corsa which veered off a road and onto tram tracks before crashing into a post on Sunday, November 10.
The Corsa was travelling along the A61 Netherthorpe Road when it ran out of control near to the Brook Hill roundabout.
Police revealed today that Cian died from the extent of his injuries on Wednesday, November 13.
He was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham with life-threatening injuries but could not be saved.
The driver of the Corsa, a 19-year-old man from Sheffield, was taken to Northern General Hospital with serious injuries and remains in hospital.
A 17-year-old girl, also a passenger in the car, was taken to Northern General Hospital with serious injuries and was later discharged.
