Two Sheffield Hallam University law students lifted a trophy at Wembley Stadium as they were crowned champions at the 2017 National Sports Law Negotiation Competition.
Millie Broadbent and Billy Methley, third-year law students, beat 19 other finalists to win the competition at Wembley.
The students were successful in both negotiation scenarios and received the highest overall score.
The winners were presented with a trophy and a week’s work experience at the Rugby Football Union at Twickenham.
Millie said: “Representing the university in this competition was an amazing opportunity and something I will never forget. Billy and I were absolutely thrilled to have won, and we couldn’t quite believe it when they announced the result. I am so proud that our hard work has paid off.”
