CLOCKS on information signs around Sheffield city centre are out of use due to a fault.
Covers have been placed on them, including those at Midland Station and on Fargate.
Sheffield Council said they have developed a fault and officers are working with the manufacturers to find a solution.
Richard Eyre, head of city centre management, said: “The clocks on street information signs have developed a fault, which is making some of them run fast or slow.
“To avoid the clocks displaying the wrong time, we’ve covered them temporarily while we work with the manufacturer to find out the reason for the fault.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope to find a solution in the near future.”
