Staff at a Sheffield architects group have raised more than £4,000 for a city hospice after completing a 45-mile walk.

Race Cottam staff strolled the route around the outside of Sheffield to raise cash for St Luke’s Hospice, a charity caring for adults with incurable illnesses.

Una Moran, St Luke’s director of fundraising, said: “We have worked very closely with Race Cottam over many years and we were delighted that they wanted to support us in this way.

“Having already been instrumental in the creation of our new In Patient Centre, they then went on to raise this fantastic sum for us.”
