Transferred to Sheffield RSPCA from another branch, staff report that Rufus has a real zest for life and ‘gives 150 per cent in everything he does’.

He has found kennel life quite challenging but is managing well in his latest situation.

Rufus is qute toy and food focused and has oodles of motivation and energy; his carers at the kennels say he may even be the next Britain’s Got Talent finalist.....such is his enthusiasm for tasks.

But the fellow did not have a great start in life and can struggle with social skills when around other pets. However, he loves tennis balls and when playing, these outweigh his worries over other dogs.

Training is ongoing at the centre and staff will support any potential adopter to continue his progress.

Rufus would be best as an only pet, to prevent him worrying and allow him to enjoy all his owner’s love and attention.

He is quite a cheeky boy, say RSPCA staff, and he`s very keen with his toy playing antics, with particular skill at ‘wait’ and ‘the swapsies game’.

The best home for Rufus would be where any children are over 14 years, so that they can help with his training and can play a big part in

Rufus` life in general.

This two-and a half years old Staffordshire Bull Terrier has charmed his carers at the RSPCA centre. Anyone who would like to share relentless fun and frolics with a beautiful, loyal dog should get in touch with them to arrange a visit.
