Star Sheffield baker Howard Middleton is to judge a new ‘corporate’ baking competition aimed at raising cash for a city charity.
The contestant in the Great British Bake Off – the latest series of which finishes next week – will decide the winner of the competition run by charity Neurocare.
Neurocare raises money for life-saving equipment on the neurosurgical wards of the Royal Hallamshire Hospital and supports patients with conditions such as brain tumours.
Companies will donate £100 to enter their firm’s star baker into Neurobake.
They will get nine tickets for colleagues to attend the event on Monday, October 20, which also provides the opportunity to network with other businesses.
The contest winner will take part in a festive baking course with Howard at Hartington’s in the Peak District in November.
