Sheffield’s help for Syria crisis

SHEFFIELD residents have donated more than £11,675 to an appeal launched for people affected by the conflict in Syria.

The UK public have so far donated £5m to the DEC Syria Crisis appeal, helped by 128 people in Sheffield.

Money is needed urgently to provide food, clean water, emergency shelter and medical care. Three million people have been forced from their homes by the fighting in Syria.
