A SHEFFIELD project is seeking volunteers to support families and friends of people struggling with drug or alcohol problems.
The Families in Recovery Project is run by Rotherham, Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust.
Madge Wilson, RDaSH’s Family and Friends Co-ordinator, said: “The impact of living with, or caring for, someone with a drug or alcohol problem can be profound. It can cause anxiety, isolation and stigma.
“We helps family and friends to support the person they care for and get them access to the necessary treatment.”
If you live in Sheffield and have personal experience caring for someone with a substance misuse problem, call Madge on 0114 2521914.
