SUPERMARKET workers were joined by a senior councillor for a litterpick in a Sheffield park.
Coun Jack Scott, cabinet member for environment, lent a hand when staff from Asda stores around the city went out for a spot of community action.
Coun Scott said: “Although council budgets have been cut massively it doesn’t stop local businesses and residents helping to keep their communities clear from litter and make them more attractive places to live and play.
“It’s great that the Asda Community Team get involved like this and give something back, so I want to say a big thanks to them. Graves Park looks a lot better.”
