A FLEET of police cars raced through morning traffic in Sheffield as officers launched an operation to locate a wanted man.
Six police cars, with their blue lights flashing and sirens blaring, were sent to Broomhall at around 10.30am yesterday, speeding around the Brook Hill roundabout, pictured.
The police helicopter was also flown in to assist officers.
A spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police, after the Friday incident, said: “They were trying to locate a wanted person and the police helicopter was called out to help. There was no cause for concern for the wider public.”
